°Õ³ó±ð Qur’anic Studies Series, published by the IIS in association with Oxford University Press, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new editorial board.Ìý
°Õ³ó±ð new editorial board is composed of the following professors:

- ¹ó²¹°ù³ó²¹»å D²¹´Ú³Ù²¹°ù²â (±õ±õ³§);
-  (University of Oregon);
-  (Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Germany);
-  (University of Chicago);
-  (Emory University).
°Õ³ó±ð new editorial board brings together a wealth of knowledge and expertise in fields related to Qur’anic Studies. We are honoured and delighted to welcome them to the series.
Only the first two above-mentioned members served in the previous board. The outgoing members are: Professors Abdou Filali-Ansary, Hermann Landolt, Wilferd Madelung, Azim Nanji and Eric Ormsby. Their wisdom, scholarship and dedication has been deeply inspirational during the years they served on the board. Our warmest appreciation and recognition goes out to them.

°Õ³ó±ð IIS established its Qur’anic Studies Unit in 2000 to encourage original analysis on issues related to theÌýQur’anÌýand to make the research of its own and other scholars available to students, academics and a wider readership through the Qur’anic Studies Series. The series aims to display the diversity of the ways in which the Qur’anÌýhas been interpreted over the centuries, as well as the historicity of those interpretations and of theÌýQur’anÌýitself. Twenty volumes have been produced so far, the latest being On Women (ed. K. Bauer and F. Hamza), the second volume of An Anthology of Qur’anic Commentaries. °Õ³ó±ð Series Editor is Omar AlÃ-de-Unzaga.
