A little more on the series:
°Õ³ó±ð IIS established its Qur’anic Studies Unit in 2000 to encourage original analysis on issues related to theÌýQur’anÌýand to make the research of its own and other scholars available to students, academics and a wider readership through the Qur’anic Studies Series. The series aims to display the diversity of the ways in which the Qur’anÌýhas been interpreted over the centuries, as well as the historicity of those interpretations and of theÌýQur’anÌýitself. Twenty volumes have been produced so far, the latest being On Women (ed. K. Bauer and F. Hamza), the second volume of An Anthology of Qur’anic Commentaries. °Õ³ó±ð Series Editor is Omar Alí-de-Unzaga.
