Arabic and Islamic History Lecture Series (AIHLS) covers a wide range of topics in intellectual, cultural, and social history in Arabic and Islamic contexts. Such topics include studies pertaining to Islamic history and culture, the 河顎姻a稼Muslims believe that the Holy 河顎姻a稼 contains divine revelations to the Prophet Muhammed received in Mecca and Medina over a period of 23 years in the early 7th century CE. This series provides a platform for scholars from the Arab and Islamic world to present their research in Arabic in order to make knowledge accessible to a wider audience. In doing so, this series promotes the mission of IIS to enhance academic and international collaboration, engagement with local communities, and the dissemination of knowledge. The wider aim of the series is to highlight the use of Arabic as an important language of academic discourse and dialogue.
