Aga Khan Library
The Aga KhanA title granted by the Shah of Persia to the then Ismaili Imam in 1818 and inherited by each of his successors to the Imamate. Library supports teaching, learning, and research at ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¸£Àû¹ú²ú and The Aga Khan University’s Institute for the ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¸£Àû¹ú²ú of Muslim Civilisations. With over 55,000 volumes, the Aga Khan Library houses one of the largest collections in Europe dedicated to the study of Ismaili communities and offers a wide range of print and digital resources on key topics in Islamic studies, including history, politics, traditions, and beliefs.
